Teacher Renewal Seminar, 8-3 pm, North Shore Campus

National Louis University's Reading Center hosts its annual Teacher Renewal Seminar, in conjunction with the Suburban Council of the International Reading Association. Author and educator Linda Hoyt leads the seminar on "Comprehension in the Spotlight: Getting More from Nonfiction, Read Alouds, & Guided Writing."

The sizzling heat couldn't stop nearly 300 alumni, faculty, staff, and their families from enjoying an afternoon with National Louis and Lincoln Park Zoo.
