Wanted: Part time Weekend Companion for Asperger Teen Position Description: • Spending a few weekend hours with our 16 year old son in Glencoe for companionship and development of life and social skills • May entail going out to movies/meals, driving to appointments, overseeing homework completion, and/or staying home cooking/playing video games, etc. • Requires occasional weekend overnights at our house (Friday afternoon through Monday morning) • Hours and days TBA Qualifications Needed: • Training and/or experience in Special Education, particularly adolescent Asperger Syndrome • Should be patient, yet able to encourage social or outside activities • Male Candidates preferred, but Females may apply • Valid Driver’s License; good driving record • Recommendations from teachers/employers • Background Check will be performed • Non-Smoker Salary: • $10-18 per hour depending on qualifications Contact Information: • Email resume and availability to Debbie (dcl1050@aol.com) posted January 5, 2009
