The Federal Perkins Loan
The Federal Perkins Loan is a low-interest loan for undergraduate students. The school is your lender; the loan is made with government funds with a share contributed by the University. The amount you may receive depends on your financial need, the amount of other aid you are receiving, and the availability of funds at National-Louis University. If you are eligible for this loan, the Perkins loan will be listed on your official Award Notification Letter from the Student Finance Office. The Perkins Loan may be used for education-related expenses only, and it must be repaid.

We have recently converted to a new billing service ECSI. In order to view your account on-line, simply access the website of Educational Computer Systems, Inc. (ECSI) at www.ecsi.net.
Login by using the following information:
School Code: 6Q
SSN#: Your nine-digit social security number
PIN#: ECSI assigned pin number (Be sure to change the pin number once you have logged in.)
Your first statement from ECSI will arrive shortly if your loan is in repayment. With ECSI, you will be billed on the 15th of each month with your payment due on the 1st of the following month. If you are currently in a deferment or grace period, you will receive statements prior to the first payment due date. If you do not choose to pay on-line at www.ecsi.net, please be sure to make your check or money order payable to National-Louis University and return your payment to the following address:

Always be sure to write your account number on your check or money order. Do not send your payment directly to National-Louis University. If at any time you think you are eligible for a deferment, cancellation, or postponement, please access the forms at www.ecsi.net/bwr/forms and return the completed forms to ECSI for processing.
