Program and Highlights

The Annual Celebration Luncheon was held on October 12, 2009 in the atrium at National Louis University.

The program included a Chinese buffet lunch, a fundraising gifts sale, live musical performances, the awards presentation, and a special presentation of the latest trends in Chinese Music.

Also, the Chinese Club's fundraising event for China and Taiwan typhoon disaster relief went well.  Our club had collected $ 500.00 as of October 26, 2009, and all checks were mailed to the American Red Cross on November 5, 2009.  While we cannot continue accepting checks at NLU, please keep sending your checks to the American Red Cross if you want to support the China and Taiwan typhoon disaster relief fund.

Many friends, colleagues, students, and guests attended the luncheon and participated in the fundraising event (see photos below).  The event was very successful.
