At National Louis University, we believe the transformative power of education should be available to all who seek it, from first generation students to lifelong learners. As Provost I provide leadership for all academic activities at National Louis University, ensuring top quality educational experiences for our students and supporting the teaching, research, and scholarship of our faculty. In service of our mission, my office collaborates with our three academic colleges- the National College of Education, the College of Arts and Sciences, and the College of Management and Business.

As the first in my family to attend college, I know personally what it feels like embark on the path of higher education with a sense of discovery but also with a need for experienced guidance. The Provost's Office leads the departments that support our students' academic, professional, and personal goals. These include the academic advising center (which guides students in designing and completing their degree plans), Learning Support (where students access tutoring, library, and information resources), and the registrar's office.

Along with faculty colleagues across the University, my office is attuned to discovering opportunities for students to use talents they already possess and match these to their professional aspirations and leadership roles in their communities. The diversity of experience our students brings to the classroom is an essential part of our learning environment. I am proud to be a steward of NLU's promise to provide students with 21st century skills including critical thinking, effective communication, global thinking, technology literacy, collaboration and innovation. And I am proud to help lead an institution where our faculty and staff learn as much from our students as the other way around.
